Haywood Public Library Joins NC Cardinal Live on Evergreen

Duluth, GA — November 5, 2012

Haywood Public Library has gone live on Evergreen as part of the NC Cardinal consortium. Equinox Software over saw both data migration and staff training. ESI will also continue to provide on-going system administration and technical support for the entire consortium.

Haywood is the ninth library to join NC Cardinal. They migrated 116,000 bib items and almost 30,000 patrons to the combined catalog. The online catalog for entire consortium can be viewed at www.nccardinal.org.

Equinox President, Brad LaJeunesse, says, "Library users in North Carolina are already seeing the benefits of a resource sharing system that allows them access to materials not previously available at their local library. Three additional libraries are already scheduled to join the consortium in early 2013 as they continue to build a statewide system."
